After earning the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America, the Eagle Scout Award, Tony graduated with honors from high school in 1997. Tony then went onto Grinnell College, in Grinnell, Iowa, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, while swimming all four years on the men’s varsity swim team. After graduating from Grinnell College, Tony moved to Austin, Texas, where he worked for the Lower Colorado River Authority developing water rate projection models used to forecast water rates for customers along the Colorado River. Tony then moved to Chicago, where he worked for two years as a market reporter in the equities futures and options pits on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (the “CMEâ€).
